CURRENT FORM:
My first match was a benefit game for three Posh players - Woods, Bryan and Parrott - against Hull at London Road in 1951. Raich Carter and Don Revie played for Hull.

My dad used to give me two and sixpence to wash the car and then he'd take me to football.

I've been a regular pretty much ever since and a season ticket holder in the main stand for over 30 years.

My most memorable Posh experience was travelling on one of 21 trains to Huddersfield for an FA Cup tie on January 26, 1957. Denis Law made his debut for Huddersfield at the age of 18.

I must have between 1500 and 2000 pro- grammes among other memorabilia.

I enjoy watching the current team, but I enjoy watching Posh full stop, through thick and thin.

PRE-MATCH:
I invited a Leeds fan, Richard Hindmarch, to the game so I picked him up from Stamford before collecting my mate Bruce Pell from Castor.

I played cricket with Bruce at Castor for years and now we watch Posh together at every home game.

We met our other friend Richard Wayland and got into the ground about 15
minutes before kick-off, earlier than normal!

I fancied a draw before the game, but anticipated a decent game of football between two good sides.

HALF-TIME REPORT:
Leeds had plenty of possession and looked very quick in attack, but we had the better chances. It was an equal match and I wasn't going to predic which way it was going to go.

We had a natter with everyone around us at half-time. I fancied a cup of tea, but the queue would have been too long - we ne a bigger kiosk.

ATMOSPHERE:
It was brilliant, just like the old days in the Midland League when we used to really get behind the team. Both sets of fans were vocal making it a very good atmosphere.

FULL-TIME REPORT:
A great victory for the team. The goal straight after the break was a real bonus and for the next 15-20 minutes we were very good.

Leeds looked anxious for the first time al afternoon, although they came back strongly and we couldn't relax until Craig Mackail-Smith scored the second goal in injury time.

We deserved the win and my men-of-the match were Paul Coutts and Shaun Batt.

OVERALL MATCHDAY RATING: 9, POSH FANS: 9, THEIR FANS: 9.
