Midway Skipper pulled off a stunning win in front of the Sky television cameras at Newcastle on Wednesday night.
Trained by 79 year-old Wisbech trainer Henry Chalkley and owned by his wife Patricia, the 10-1 shot stunned 1-2 favourite Bubby Eagle to win the £6,000 William Hill TV Trophy over 895m by a length-and-a-half.

Midway Skipper soon hit the front as she showed the sort of form that made her one of the country's top greyhounds last year, much to the delight of her trainer.

Chalkley, who has been involved in the sport for 60 years, said: "She's come back with a bang and it means so much for all the family.

"We breed our own dogs and haven't bought one for 30 years."
