(Elite League A)
Panthers' frailties were again clear to see on a night of Midlands misery.

The city side were condemned to the latest in a long line of thumping away defeats by a Wolverhampton side led by two Panthers assets.

Niels Kristian Iversen (11) and Ales Dryml (10+3) both shone for the hosts as they put their parent club to the sword in this rain-affected contest.

Panthers could only manage four heat wins and two heat advantages during a dismal display.

The only positive for Trevor Swales' men was the return to form of Kenneth Bjerre who scored 11.

Czech struggler Sam Simota snapped a streak of nine successive last places when second in his final ride.

Scores:
Wolves: Freddie Lindgren 11+1, Niels Kristian Iversen 11, Ales Dryml 10+3, Christian Hefenbrock 8+2, Nicolai Klindt 8, David Howe 7+1, Kenneth Hansen 4+1.

Panthers: Kenneth Bjerre 11, Hans Andersen 9, Danny King 5, Morten Risager 3+1, Sam Simota 2, Craig Watson (guest for Henrik Moller) 2, Claus Vissing.
