HANS Andersen has vowed to put a smile back on the faces of his Panthers team-mates and the club's supporters on the biggest night of the season so far.
Panthers take on Poole at the Showground tonight (7.30pm) in their first home meeting for two-and-a-half weeks, bidding to preserve a 100 per cent top-flight record on their own shale and erase the memory of a couple of recent away thumpings.

Andersen is convinced Panthers can grab a victory to haul themselves out of a mini-slump, but admits he and his team-mates have to return to top form.

Andersen said: "We are all struggling to score points at the moment. No-one from the riders to the management and the fans enjoys losing meetings.

"Everyone is of course down in the dumps but we can sort that out by getting a win tonight and I will do everything I can to get the boys going.

"We need to produce a performance that puts the enjoyment back into speedway both for ourselves and the supporters.

"Facing Eastbourne was very tough but this meeting is going to be just as difficult. Everyone saw what Chris Holder can do around our track the other week, Krzysztof Kasprzak is a strong rider and Davey Watt is normally decent at Peterborough.

"But we got the result against Eastbourne and we can do it again."
