TEENAGE Afghan Mehdi Mehpour came off the substitutes' bench to earn Leverington a shock draw at title fancies Deeping.
The 16 year-old claimed his first senior goal 15 minutes from time after latching on to a misplaced defensive header. Matt Farrington had fired Deeping ahead just before half-time.

Leverington manager Wayne Garner said: "It was a great moment for Mehdi. He is going to be some player when he gets a bit more experience.

"We had to battle hard to get what was a good point. Deeping had plenty of possession and probably felt they should have won."

Deeping manager Alex Brown agreed with that. He was a frustrated man for the second week in succession as seven days earlier his side had bowed out of the Senior Cup at the hands of Parson Drove after a penalty shoot-out.

Brown believes Deeping should have won both games. He said: "We had enough chances to be out of sight by the time they equalised.

"We played well, but paid the price for missing chances and then for one defensive error."
