Panthers can move a big step closer to Elite League safety by beating Eastbourne at the Showground tonight.
The city side impressively despatched Swindon on Monday night and another win would move them to within a point of escaping the drop zone.

Wayne Swales will again deputise for father Trevor as team manager tonight against a side that still harbour feint play-off hopes.

He said: "It will be another tough one, but after the performance we produced when beating Swindon on Monday we don't fear anyone.

"Had we produced performances like that throughout the season we certainly wouldn't be worrying about survival, but that is the position we find ourselves in and we must make sure we got out of the bottom two as quickly as possible."

PANTHERS are to hold a fans' forum on Wednesday, September 24 when the new management team of Rick Frost, Mick Bratley and Trevor Swales will all be in attendance.

The event is at Ebeneezers in Grove Street, Woodston and admission will be free and Frost has urged supporters to take the opportunity to air their views on the club.

New owner Frost said: "Fans should remember that this is your club and this is a good opportunity to express your views – what you like, what you don't, how we can improve things – we want to hear from you.

"Fans will play an important role in the future and all views will form an important part of our decision making."
