PANTHERS are set to unveil a new signing at a fans' forum tonight with Claus Vissing and Danny King the front-runners.
Club bosses are keeping their cards close to their chests regarding the identity of the rider, but promoter Mick Bratley did confirm the capture will become a new asset.

King and Vissing are the only members of the current Panthers' line-up not ow
ned by the club. King has spent the past two years on loan from East Anglian rivals Ipswich while Danish racer Vissing has been a big success story in his debut Elite League campaign after joining on loan from Premier League outfit Stoke.

Panthers have also been widely linked to rising King's Lynn and Boston star Simon Lambert in recent weeks.

Bratley said: "We feel sure this announcement will really excite the fans and I would urge as many people as possible to come along tonight."

The forum is at Ebeneezers Social Club in Grove Street, Woodston, (7.30pm) and entry is free. New owner Rick Frost will talk about his recent takeover of the club and future plans, and the rest of the management team, plus a rider, will be on hand to answer questions.

Panthers have already confirmed Polish reserve Karol Zabik as the first member of their 2009 team. Zabik was sensationally handed a team place next year little over 24 hours after being sacked during the weekend.
