Activities in your area

Peterborough City Council's young people's service has arranged a wide range of activities during the school holidays offering young people exciting opportunities to have fun and learn new skills.

Free activities will be taking place in Bretton, Paston, Werrington and Westwood for young people aged 13 to 19, or 13 to 25 with additional needs.

Activities will be held at:

  • Stafford Hall, Hampton Court, Westwood, Peterborough, on Wednesday 30 July between 12 noon and 6 pm and Thursday 7 August between 11 am and 5 pm.
  • The Honeyhill Centre, Paston, Peterborough will host activities on Thursday 31 July between 2 pm and 8 pm and on Wednesday 13 August between 12 noon and 6 pm.
  • Tyesdale Community Centre, Tyesdale, Bretton, Peterborough on Wednesday 6 August between 12 noon and 6 pm and on Thursday 14 August between 2 pm and 8 pm.
  • Ken Stimpson Community School, Staniland Way, Werrington, Peterborough, will host activities on Wednesday 20 August between 12noon and 6pm.
  • Werrington Young People's Development Centre, Church Street, Werrington, Peterborough will do so on Thursday 21 August between 2 pm and 8 pm.

Activities taking place on Wednesdays could include smoothie making, sports activities, a climbing wall, it's a knockout challenge, graffiti canvas art and crafts including card making.

There could also be a picnic and advisers on-hand from Drink Sense and Bridgegate.

Activities taking place on Thursdays could include a graffiti project, photography, t-shirt design and DJ skills workshop. Lunch will be included.
