AFC Fletton share top spot with Deeping Sports after cruising past struggling Wimblington 6-1.
It was a result which proves the high-flyers are improving all the time, according to manager Ian Rudd.

He said: "Last season we struggled big time against some of the so-called lesser sides, but this season we are picking up results against them.

"But we are still only playing well in patches and will have to step it up against the top sides.

Stuart Eason (2), Joe Duffy, Michael Sealy, Rafal Kula and an own goal did the trick for Fletton with Kevin Holt hitting the Wimblington goal.

Boss Chris Bartlett said: "We have already faced four of the top five teams in away games, so it hasn't exactly been an easy start.

"We are really struggling for numbers at the moment and have a shortage of quality.

"We are in danger of being dragged back towards the bottom after making progress last season, but we have got to stay upbeat."
