RAMSEY manager Paul Taylor insisted he was proud of his players even though they suffered their first Peterborough League defeat in 18 months at the weekend.
Ironically Taylor missed all but the final 15 minutes of the 4-0 home reverse by Rutland Rangers after attending a family wedding.

He said: "I still picked the team though! We were always going to lose a game sooner or later and from the little bit I did see Rutland looked a tasty outfit.

"But I'm very proud of what we have achieved in the last couple of seasons.

"The secret now is to start another run and I'm confident we can do it."
