HAMPTON Sports will be a new name on the Saturday football scene after entering two teams in the Peterborough League.
The club, which has enjoyed a successful first season in the Peterborough Sunday Morning League, is now moving into the Saturday game.
Former Peterborough Sports Reserves and King's Cliffe chief David Sandford has been appointed first team boss. H

The club begin training on June 20 at Queens Park in Yaxley.
NETHERTON United FC are seeking a manager/coach for their Under 15 side next season.

THERE are still plenty of spaces available for teams wishing to enter a six-a-side tournament at Stanground College on Saturday July 11 and Sunday July 12.
The tournament is for boys teams on the Saturday (Under 11 through to Under 16) and then on the Sunday for girls teams (Under 10, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16).

POSH are holding trials for next season's girls Advanced Centre squads.
The trials take place at Hampton College, Peterborough, on Saturday June 20 and the club are looking for players for their Under 10, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 teams.
All trials will be run by independent professional scouts and FA women and girls development managers. The times are: Under 10 - 10am-11am; Under 12 - 11.15am-12.15pm; Under 14 - 12.30pm-1.30pm; Under 16 - 1.45pm-2.45pm.
Girls interested in attending will need to complete an application/consent form before the trials date and they can access this by visiting the Posh website at

Players picked to attend the Advanced Centre still get to play with their local team. Training sessions are usually on a Monday evening and matches are usually played in the school holidays.
