WHITTLESEY needed only 22 seconds to launch Peterborough Sports' latest defeat.
Simon Acton found the net from their first attack in a 9-0 PFA Senior Cup first round success.

Acton went on to score four with Matt Heron (2), Ian Christine, Rob Speechley and Ashley Moore also finding the target.

Boss Paul Humphries said: "We knew the result wasn't in any doubt after scoring so early, but I really hope Sports can keep going because the league needs them.

Sports joint boss Darren Sweary admitted: "You can't come back from conceding so early, but we did have much more possession than in our previous games."

Division One side Werrington stunned Oundle with a 3-1 success in the other Senior Cup tie played on Saturday.
