Posh moved a step closer to promotion despite squandering a host of chances against a poor Chester side.
Dean Keates eventually broke the deadlock in the 71st minute with a towering header after Scott Rendell had flicked on Aaron Mclean's cross.
Posh had missed a succession of opportunities before then with full debutant Rendell and top scorer Mclean the guilty parties.

In the second half Rendell hit the bar from close range and headed wide from a Chris Whelpdale cross, while Mclean missed a sitter in the third minute after great work by Jamie Day and George Boyd.

A late winner for MK Dons stopped Posh returning to the top of the table, but they are now nine points clear of Darlington in fourth spot

Where has poor old Peter BOREian gone, anyone heard his moanings on any other threads. I suupose all it will take is one Posh loss and he'll be back like a dose of the trots.
