LEAGUE One rivals Swindon Town have confirmed their interest in transfer listed Posh winger Josh Low.
Low was linked with Swindon and Cheltenham last week. Posh are unlikely to want to a fee for one of their highest paid players.
Swindon manager Maurice Malpas said: "Josh Low has got a presence about him.
"He's quick and he would give us a diff
erent option. I was keen for him to come on loan for six months, but he's got family and is wanting a more permanent deal.
"In an ideal world I would like to take him to Austria on our pre-season tour, but I'm not sure if Peterborough would agree to that.
"There are another couple of clubs interested, and it depends on what I can take to the table. At the moment, I've not made my mind up.
"I'm probably delaying it more than he is, but I've got to make sure I get it right. It's got to be within our terms, within our wage structure and most importantly the best thing to do for the club."
Low joined Posh from Leicester City in January 2007 for a fee now believed to be £25,000.
He was given a long contract on Championship wages by previous manager Keith Alexander, but current boss Darren Ferguson has stated that he no longer figures in his plans.
Ferguson is also keen to off-load goalkeepers Mark Tyler and Shwan Jalal, full-backs Adam Smith and Danny Blanchett plus striker Danny Crow.
Crow is a loan target for Blue Square Premier League club Cambridge United.
