Posh will sign Fulham centre-back Gaby Zakuani on loan when the 22 year-old returns from international duty with Congo next week.
A fee has been agreed between the clubs, but a permanent move can not now take place until the January transfer window. Emergency loans are allowed from next Monday.

Zakuani is expected to make his debut in the League Two derby at Northampton on September 13.

Why not sign a player who isn't an international to cover for Morgan when he's on international duty. We'll have still no defensive options this Saturday, and then in a months time with an international week again (Congo & wales World Cup qualifiers) we have the same problem. What if Blackett continues to impress at centre back do we drop him v Cobblers when our two international "stars" return?
