BREAKING NEWS 2.15PM: Posh manager Darren Ferguson has revealed that he is back in the hunt for Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson.

Ferguson hopes to secure the services of the 20 year-old on loan in time to play in the League One local derby at Northampton on September 13.

Gibson has yet to break into the United first team, but played 21 games on loan at Wolves in the Championship last season.

He scored a spectacular long-range goal against Posh for United in this summer's pre-season friendly between the teams.
