Jalal completes move but Charnock stays

Goalkeeper Shwan Jalal formally completed his transfer to League Two side Bournemouth yesterday (September 1).
But a proposed move for transfer-listed Posh defender Kieran Charnock to the same club collapsed when manager Kevin Bond was sacked last night.

Former Posh star Jimmy Quinn is the new Cherries' boss.

Morecambe and Accrington also failed in bids to sign Charnock on transfer deadline day. Posh are expecting a fee for the centre-back.

we always expect a fee (re: Low,Crow,Strachan etc etc) but end up paying these players off at considerable cost. When will Fry learn (NEVER!), if a club wants one of our players let him go, why waste another 6 months+ wages on an unhappy player that our manager won't pick. It's not rocket science, FFS Darragh give me £200,000 a year and i'll sort the mess out for you.
