IT'S a meaningless match for both teams tomorrow, but Aaron Mclean still has glory in his sights.
The Posh top goalscorer is a red hot favourite to clinch the League Two Golden Boot award as nearest rival Scott McGleish of Wycombe has three goals to make up in the final fixture. Wycombe are at home to Bradford tomorrow.

Mclean is also aiming to become the second Posh player after the legendary Terry Bly in 1960-61 to score 30 league goals in a season. He's already equalled Bly's 29 goals from the following season.

Mclean nominated his superb volley at Stockport as his goal of the season, closely followed by the sublime touch and clinical finish at Macclesfield.

Only one of them is worthy of a place in the top Posh 10 goals of this sensational season.

1 Aaron Mclean v Stockport (away)

Mclean accepted a throw-in on his knee, turned and lashed a swerving, dipping volley from 30 yards into the top corner of the net. He reckoned he once scored a better goal for Grays, but that's doubtful.

2 Charlie Lee v Nottingham Forest (away)

An irrelevant Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at Forest turned into a richly entertaining encounter. Lee's 30-yard piledriver was easily the highlight.

3 Charlie Lee v Accrington Stanley (away)

A well-disguised free-kick orchestrated by Jamie Day finished with Lee flashing a 20-yard free-kick into the roof of the net.

4 George Boyd v Shrewsbury (away)

Boyd arrived as a late substitute and within five minutes he had sealed a superb win with a first-time 20-yard drive from the corner of the penalty area into the top corner.

5 Josh Low v Rochdale (home)

The opening day of the season provided a glorious glimpse of the football to come. Nine minutes into the season the ball travelled from goalkeeper Shwan Jalal to left-back Day to Mclean to Low who skipped inside a defender and hammered a fierce shot from the edge of the penalty area.

6 George Boyd v Rochdale (away)

A drab game on an impossible surface was brought to life by a stunning 30-yard smash by Boyd. It travelled at a ridiculous pace and would be higher up the list, but for the 'Dale keeper's comedy attempt to stop it.

7 Craig Mackail-Smith v Grimsby (away)

More proof of a superb passing style. Mackail-Smith started the move with a superb touch on the half-way line.

He slipped the ball onto Boyd who fed Mclean who instantly moved it on to Mackail-Smith who burst into the area and slipped the ball under the body of the keeper.

8 Jamie Day v Wrexham (away)

His first free-kick goal of the night was deflected into the net, but his second was a beauty as it sailed over the wall and into the net past a stationary goalkeeper.

9 George Boyd v Chesterfield (away)

In the first minute of the second-half, Mackail-Smith went on one of his stunning surges down the right-wing and centred for Boyd to finish with a sweet first-time volley.

10 Dean Keates v Hereford (away)

The goal that clinched promotion was a stunner.

I am surprised thst George Boyd's goal at Chesterfield is only at number 9. At half time I had just put an extra jumper and hat etc on because it was a nithering, misty night and was just settling down at the other end as Posh wandered up to the Chesterfield goal for the umpteenth time. The ball went across the penalty area and then bang! the back of the net was bulging. I thought, "What could that be?" There was an almighty cheer from the Posh fans behind the goal so I presumed it was George again.
