STRIKER Darryl Duffy played a minor role in Swansea's League One title success last season before making the trip across the Severn Bridge at a cost to Rovers of £100,000.
And the Scot has played a big part in Rovers' decent recent form with goals in each of the last two League One matches.

His partnership with Lambert eased the way for Rovers to allow their prolific scorer Richard Walker to join League Two title f
avourites Shrewsbury on loan.

One Rovers' face familiar to Posh fans tomorrow will be that belonging to Jeff Hughes. Hughes (right) spent a month on loan at Posh last season from Crystal Palace, but declined the opportunity to move to London Road on a permanent basis.

Posh were also keen to sign powerful centre-back Steve Elliott last year, but the player preferred to sign a fresh contract with a club he'd just helped to promotion.

Goalkeeper Steve Phillips was a Bristol City regular for many years before joining their big city rivals. Midfielder Aaron Lescott is England defender Joleon Lescott's brother.

Stuart Campbell and Craig Disley have been hurtling around the Rovers midfield for years. Right-back David Pipe used to play for Notts County.

Rovers signed striker Wayne Andrews from Crystal Palace on loan in the summer, but he has yet to make an impact at his new club, unlike when he joined Posh on loan from Watford in 1999 and promptly scored four goals on his debut.
