Big signing Sergio could not resist the pull of Posh

A BIG-MONEY move to Posh was too good an opportunity to be ignored for Sergio Torres.
The Argentine ace completed the formalities of his £200,000 transfer to London Road from League Two side Wycombe - a fee which also includes compensation for defender Russell Martin - yesterday.
Torres admitted it was a big wrench to leave Wanderers after three happy years, but he couldn't resist the pull of a club chasing a second successive promotion.
Trickster Torres reckons Posh's exciting style of football will suit his game and has vowed to rise to the challenge of forcing his way into Posh boss Darren Ferguson's first team.
Torres said: "I would be lying if I said it wasn't a hard decision to leave Wycombe, but I am very excited to be at Peterborough.
"It feels like the right time for me to take a step forward and Peterborough are a club who will be pushing for promotion again.
"From what I saw of Peterborough last season it was clear that they have a very good team who play really attacking football and that will suit me perfectly.
"The Wycombe fans used to say I was a bit tricky. I like to take defenders on and I hope I can give the unbelievable strikers here some chances."
Torres has never played higher than League Two but is sure he can handle the pressure that will accompany his six-figure switch.
"When I moved to Wycombe from Basingstoke they only paid £5,000," he added. "This time there is a lot more money involved and that means extra pressure, but I am confident I will pay it back with some good performances for the Posh fans.
"I had to fight for my place when at Wycombe and will have to do the same at Peterborough."
Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey has stated the club are not looking to sign any further forwards after landing Charlton man Chris Iwelumo.
The Molineux outfit have been repeatedly linked with transfer-listed Posh hitman Aaron Mclean.
Danny Blanchett played for Southend in their friendly win over Thurrock on Saturday.
Director of Football Barry Fry has dismissed reports in the Eastern Daily Press today that keeper Mark Tyler is set for a move to the club he supports, Norwich City.
