Remembrance Day: 'Wear it with Pride'
By John Carman, Holmes Way, Paston

He thinks of the future
He's sure he will never make
His dreams are shattered
Because of one mistake.

He falls at the firing line
How bravely he had fought
He will be remembered
He is gone but not forgot.

Think of that soldier
Who only did his best
Now his fight is over
He is finally at rest.

Now the war is over
No battles on the shore
The brave will return
To a peaceful land once more.

Next time you buy a poppy
Don't put it to one side
Pin it to your jacket
And wear it with pride.
