HEAD to a city park to learn more about a little-understood medical condition.
A day of poetry and picnics is in store on Friday, May 16, in the event organised by the Peterborough ME Society.

As well as information about the neurological illnesses Myalgic Encephalopathy and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, there will also be the chance to hear from sufferers as children, young people, adults and carers share their poems.

The event is being held as part of ME Awareness Week.

It will take place on Friday, May 16, between 1pm and 2.30pm near the bandstand opposite the Butter Cross Restaurant, Central Park, Park Road, Peterborough. Anyone affected by ME, carers, partners and friends are welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
