From a faraway land
Don't know English, can't understand
Only he wanted to come to England
To start a better life
From a faraway land
Don't know English, can't understand
Only he wanted to come to England
To start a better life
He has no home, no job
Nothing to do but sit and wait
For some help to come his way
But there's none
Feeling frightened and scared
Going nowhere
With no English he speaks
What can he do?
Only dream of living in England
How can he learn the first words
And speak from his heart?
Just maybe one day he will get the chance
And tell others like him
How he came to England
From a faraway land.
