TALKING about my generation was the topic on everyone's lips at a christening with a difference.
Unusually, taking part in the ceremony were five female generations of the same family, with the oldest woman aged 90, and the youngest a mere five.

All Saints' Church in Paston was the venue for the event, which saw the women meet to celebrate Georgia Foster's special day.

The five were made up of great-great-grandmother Florence Tolliday (90), great-grandmother Pamela Russell (70), grandmother Sally Rhodes (44) and mother Melissa Rhodes (24), who were all there to see the youngest member of the clan baptised.

Sally talked proudly of the day and said: "Georgia looked gorgeous.

"She was like a little cinderella and was very excited at dressing up as a fairy princess.

"It was a lovely service, and the vicar made it special."

Although Georgia and her mother have recently moved to Hampton, they had been living in Paston where the christening was arranged at the church in Fulbridge Road.

Mrs Rhodes added: "We don't get everyone together as much as we would like to, as my mother and grandmother live in King's Lynn. I went to pick them up so we could all be here to share this special occasion."
