Club Moativation fitness club staff in Peterborough will need all the superhuman powers they can muster when they compete in a charity cycle-thon.
The zany employees will be dressing up as their favourite superheroes to take part in their fun charity challenge.

The team at Club Moativation, based at the Holiday Inn, Thorpe Wood, Peterborough, will be jumping on an exercise bike and pedalling for 24 hours.

The money will go to the club's chosen charity, Whizz-kidz, which raises funds to provide disabled children with customised mobility equipment, training and advice.

Manager Christopher Phillips said: "We have named it a superhero cycle ride for the simple reason that we're mad enough to dress up as superheroes.

"They range from me being kitted out as Bananaman, to Batman and even Superman."

The cycling marathon takes place on Tuesday, June 3, at the club, from 10am.

Participants will cycle for hour-long stints, and they aim to finish on Wednesday, June 4, at 10am.
