PANTHERS endured another humiliating defeat at Lakeside.
The city side must dread visiting this small speedway outpost as they followed up a 24-point defeat in the Craven Shield earlier in the campaign with another heavy loss.

The meeting had already been lost by the time the visitors hit form in the closing stages, led by skipper Hans Andersen with a splendid 16+1 haul.

Danny King was never on the pace after a heavy fall in the his first ride which left him battered and bruised.

Reserve Henrik Moller only managed one point and Sam Simota failed to trouble the scorers.

Scores:

Lakeside: Andreas Jonsson 11, Leigh Lanham 0+2, Adam Shields 11+1, Joonas Kylmakorpi 7+4, Jonas Davidsson 5+2, Ricky Kling 9, Lubos Tomicek 3+1.

Panthers: Hans Andersen 16+1, Morten Risager 4+1, Kenneth Bjerre 9, Sam Simota 0, Danny King 1, Claus Vissing 6, Henrik Moller 1.

SCB referee: Phil Griffin.
