It's another Panthers horror show - Ipswich 60, Panthers 31

Ipswich 60, Panthers 31 (Elite League A)
DREADFUL, dire, dismal and diabolical.
Awful, abject, appalling and atrocious. Does everyone get the picture about Panthers' latest away horror?
All of the above are accurate assessments of the city side's performance as they provided their fans with plenty of Bank Holiday torment yesterday (witnessing this debacle turned out to be about as appealing as an M25 traffic jam or an afternoon with the mother-in-law).
It was a glorious day as spring arrived in style... until the engines began to roar in mid-afternoon at Foxhall.
That's when it all went horribly wrong for the city side and their suffering supporters.
Only two corners had been covered by the time Panthers were dealt their first blow in a catalogue of setbacks which were not all their own doing.
Trevor Swales' men were on the receiving end of a couple of controversial refereeing decisions in the opening few chapters, but soon it was bad riders rather than terrible luck and testing track conditions dominating the thoughts of all connected to the city club.
From captain Hans Andersen all the way down to reserve Henrik Moller, not a single Panthers man could be truly happy with his performance.
The most impressive performers on a day to forget were Danny King (who capped a steady showing back at his old stomping ground with a heat 15 win to join Andersen at the top of the Panthers scorechart with eight points) and young guest Ty Proctor, who began brightly to pocket 4+1 points before starting to struggle in his final two outings.
But this was another meeting all about the negatives in the Panthers ranks.
Skipper Andersen is suffering something of a slump in form after a second difficult meeting in succession, although he was not alone in having a stinker by his own high standards.
Kenneth Bjerre was blighted by mechanical trouble as he suffered two chain breakages and Claus Vissing predictably struggled in the main body of the team.
And the usual struggling suspects were also at it again.
