The cast of Henry Poole Is Here turned up at the ArcLight Cinema in Hollywood for the film's premiere.
Luke Wilson, Radha Mitchell, Adriana Barraza, Cheryl Hines and George Lopez all showed up for the screening, signing autographs for fans and taking the time to speak to reporters.

"It was just a very good script and I'd seen (director) Mark Pellington's movies. It was just one of those things where everything just fell together," said leading man Luke.

Wearing a stunning canary yellow dress, Radha said she loved the script.

"It's a little story about love, hope and faith. I was attracted to the project because it was so unabashedly sincere," she said.

"In a climate where so many of the scripts are cynical, and they stand back and comment on the world in a glib way, and this movie opens its heart and talks about love, which is difficult to do without it being schmaltzy. I was totally excited about that attempt."

Comedian George Lopez recalled: "I read the script at 35,000 feet and I was on my way to Dallas to a golf tournament. It was so well written and you could really understand each character. It was just the right story at the right time, and it was a wonderful departure of my six years of TV."

The comedy drama follows a man who abandons his family and business to spend what he thinks are his last remaining days by himself.
