The state-of-the-art distribution hub will create 500 to 1,000 jobs and will operate 24 hours a day seven days a week.

It will also have 620 car parking spaces.

Agent David Shaw, planning advisor to applicants Roxhill, said: “We are pleased to have worked closely with the planning department at Peterborough City Council to ensure this important development has received permission.

“This will be one of the largest buildings in Peterborough and a very wide range of issues were taken into account to make sure it fits into Peterborough in a well planned way.”
