The 12 affordable rented homes and 13 shared ownership properties were built over 18 months thanks to Cross Keys Homes.

Cross Keys chief executive Claire Higgins said: “This has been a fantastic scheme helping so many local families to move into good quality affordable and sustainable homes.”

The homes were built by KeepMoat. New tenant Kelly Samroo and her four children (pictured with Claire and Peterborough MP Stewart Jackson) were one of the last families to move into a four bedroom semi-detached home on the site.

Miss Samroo said: “I have a disabled son and thanks to Cross Keys Homes I now have a home that meets the specific needs of our family and can be easily adapted for any future needs. Nathan is so happy here and finally has a home that he can thrive in.”
