Molly Clayton from Oundle is celebrating after being named the winner of a national sealife competition.
Eleven-year-old Molly Clayton gave a presentation on the cruelty of whaling which was voted the "most impressive" by guests and delegates with some even moved to tears.

The event took place at the National Junior Sea Life Conference in Birmingham and Molly was one of nine delegates representing Sea Life Centres and Sanctuaries across the UK.

Marine Conservation Society's communications director Richard Harrington said: "The standard of presentation and the emotive response speakers got from their listeners was impressive.

He added: "Seeing how well each of these individuals understood and then communicated the varied threats that our sea life faces is really encouraging for the future."

Molly then enjoyed a guided tour of the National Sea Life Centre, Birmingham, before meeting TV wildlife presenter Nick Baker.
