THE funeral of motorcycle racing star Craig Jones was being held today (August 18).
The 23-year-old, from Warmington, near Oundle, was killed after being thrown from his bike and struck by another rider in a British World Supersport race at Brands Hatch on August 3.

The service was taking place at St Mary and All Saints Church in Fotheringhay, near Peterborough, at 1pm, followed by a celebration of his life for family and friends at the Haycock Hotel in Wansford.

Craig's family asked for donations to be made to the Association of Air Ambulance Charities.
