THESE dramatic pictures show a group of motorcyclists taking part in dangerous stunts on a road that runs through the centre of a Peterborough business park.
The antics of the motorcyclists, which were filmed and put on video-sharing website YouTube, are believed to have taken place in Lynch Wood Business Park. They were uploaded to the popular site on October 1.
One of the videos shows a motorcyclist doing a "burnout" in the middle of the road, while another motorcyclist pulls a wheelie in the background for about 20 metres.
A burnout is a type of action popularised by motorbike racers as a form of celebration following a racing success.
It involves the biker sitting on the bike, with both feet on the ground, and holding down the clutch while revving the engine in its first gear. The aim of the action is create a flurry of smoke from the rear tyre.
However, as the video shows, the tyre on the bike "pops" and leaves the biker unable to carry on, but the permanent mark of his action is left on the road in the form of a skidmark.
In front of a crowd of fellow bikers, the second video shows a motorcyclist doing a "donut", which is a similar action to a burnout.
However, a dount involves a motorcyclist standing off the bike while pushing it in a circle to create a donut-shaped skid mark on the tarmac.
