John Height, 38, of Driffield Way, Woodston, Peterborough, is standing trial at Nottingham Crown Court accused of murdering 52-year-old Anita Anderson, of Boston. He denies the charge.
Her husband Malcolm, 54, of Boston, has already admitted her murder on December 8, 2006.
