The dismembered body of Andrew Scanlan was found in December 2006 - shortly after he was reported missing from his home in Dickens Street, Eastfield, Peterborough.
Brothers James (30) and Mark Baigent (27) plotted the death of their hated half-brother Andrew Scanlan (35), and enrolled friend, martial arts expert Jeff Woods (37) to help them handcuff, beat, stab and strangle unsuspecting Mr Scanlan in a wood at dead of night. They buried his body in a shallow grave.

In a grisly bid to get away with it, James Baigent and Woods went back, dug up the body and dismembered it with an axe before burying the pieces in two graves. They then used methods from TV show CSI to try and cover their tracks.

On Wednesday, February 27th 2008, a jury found them guilty of murder.
