A woman suffered neck and head injuries after being kicked by a horse in Ramsey.
The East of England Ambulance Service Trust and Magpas helimedix were called to Ramsey near Huntingdon at 6.30pm yesterday (Thursday) after the woman, aged in her 60s, was kicked by the animal.
She was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with injuries to her head and neck. She was then taken to Addenbrookes by the ambulance crew and the Magpas team.
She was described as being in a serious but stable condition, and transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for further care.
