VIDEO: OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE: Woman arrested on suspicion of drink driving after two car collision in Peterborough

Police are investigating a collision in Eastfield Road in Peterborough which saw a woman arrested on suspicion of drink driving and may have involved a stolen car.

The collision took place at around 4.15pm on Friday, June 24 and involved a Ford Focus and a BMW.

The driver of the Ford Focus, a 44-year-old woman from the Wisbech area, was treated by ambulance crews after being hurt in the crash. She was subsequently then arrested by police on suspicion of drink driving.

Police are also investigating reports that the BMW, which did not stop at the scene, had been stolen from the Wheatsheaf pub car park on Eastfield Road shortly before the crash.

The woman has been released on police bail until July 19.
