Two taken to hospital after two vehicle crash in Peterborough

Two people were taken to hospital after a crash in Peterborough this morning (Wednesday, March 1).

Police were called by the East of England Ambulance Service at 9.48am to Lyme Walk in Netherton.

Both vehicles had been recovered by 12.20pm.

An spokesman for the ambulance service said: “We received a call today at 9.45am to reports of a road traffic collision on Lyme Walk in Peterborough.

“We sent a rapid response vehicle and two ambulance crews to assist and treated two patients at the scene.

“One was treated for minor injuries and the other was place onto a spinal board. Both were taken to Peterborough City Hospital in stable conditions.”
