Two rescued from car involved in Peterborough bus crash

Two people have been freed from the wreckage of the car which collided with a bus in Peterborough City Centre this morning, Thursday December 24.

The bus has also collided with an office building and fire crews worked to remove the roof from the Kia involved in the crash and rescue two casualties, who have been passed over to ambulance crews.

Fire Station Commander Jamie Johnson said: “The emergency services have worked extremely well together to successfully rescue and treat casualties.

“Severe damage has also been caused to a building as a result of the collision.
