Long traffic delays in Peterborough city centre after construction vehicle overturns
A tipper truck involved in construction work at the Rivergate roundabout in Peterborough city centre has overturned this afternoon, spilling its load and blocking part of the road.
As a result there are long delays back along Bourges Boulevard and over Town Bridge.
The driver of the tipper truck was not seriously injured in the accident, which took place just before 4pm.
Traffic is back past the Queensgate roundabout and queuing as far as Bright Street.
