Long delays after lorry hits level crossing at Holme
There were long delays for motorists around Holme this afternoon after a lorry hit one of the level crossing barriers
A police spokesman said: “We were called at just gone 4pm this afternoon (Monday) with reports of a collision in Station Road, Holme.
“Traffic building up.”
The diversion was via B1040 – B1095 – B1092 – B1091– A15 – B1043 – B660 and vice versa.
The road was cleared at around 5pm.
