There were delays of up to 50 minutes on trains going through Peterborough this afternoon, Friday August 14, but Network Rail have now resolved the issue.

A problem at Peterborough caused the delays at around 1pm but Network Rail said the problem was resolved by 2.30pm.

The delays affected CrossCountry, East Midlands Trains, Grand Central, Great Northern and Hull Trains.

Compensation may be available if you were delayed for more than 30 minutes. You are advised to contact the rail operator.
