Child seriously injured in collision in Dogsthorpe, Peterborough, this morning

A boy suffered serious injuries following a collision with a van in Welland Road, Dogsthorpe, this morning, Thursday May 5.

The collision took place at the Dogsthorpe Road end close to the fire station at around 8.26am.

A Fiat Scudo and a boy, thought to be aged 13 years old, were involved in the collision.

The boy was treated for leg and back injuries before being taken by ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital for further treatment.
