Car crash causing further delays on Bourges Boulevard as roadworks ‘gridlock’ Peterborough

A two car collision in Peterborough City Centre this afternoon is not helping with heavy traffic caused by Bishop’s Road roadworks.

Police were called at 1.43pm today, Wednesday March 8, to reports of a collision in Bourges Boulevard in Peterborough.

The collision, which happened on the roundabout near Queensgate, involved a Peugeot 207 and a Kia Cee’d.

A driver of one of the cars experienced minor injuries as a result of the collision and was treated by paramedics.
