Cambridgeshire road closed after bus collides with car

A road in Cambridgeshire was closed this morning after a bus collided with a car.

The B1040 in Ramsey was shut after the collision this morning (Thursday, March 23).

Cambridgeshire police were called at 9.08am to the incident.

The East of England Ambulance Service was called at 9.13am to near the High Street in Bury, Ramsey.

An ambulance officer was dispatched and arrived at the scene within nine to 10 minutes.

One person, believed to be the driver of the car, was assessed but did not require hospital treatment.

The road has now been cleared.
