BREAKING: Overturned car causing long delays on A1 at Peterborough
An overturned car is causing long delays on the A1 at Peterborough this afternoon, Friday May 26.
The crash has taken place between Water Newton and Alwalton on the southbound carriageway.
There are long delays in both directions following the crash, which took place at 1pm. Queues are back to Wansford southbound and Haddon Services northbound.
UPDATE: The road is now clear although residual delays remain.
