Woman taken to hospital after Forty Foot collision

11.30am: A was taken to hospital this morning (Thursday) following a collision between two vehicles on the B1096 near Ramsey.

The incident happened on the B1096 Forty Foot Bank at 7.20am.

Emergency services attended and one woman was taken to Hinchinbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon.

The extent of her injuries are not known at present.

As a result of the incident the Forty Foot Bank was closed at the B1096 Benwick Road junction for a time for recovery work and an oil spillage.
