Two car collision blocks A47

11.30am: The A47 westbound at Thorpe Wood in Peterborough was blocked following a two car collision this morning (Tuesday).
The incident happened on just after 9.10am, the road is now clear.
A police spokeswoman said it was not thought anyone was injured in the crash, but the cars were blocking the carriageway.

It is the latest in a series of legal ploys to avoid speeding tickets. The downside is that you might arrive before you left and have a hangover before you've had the night out.
