Pensioner has to be cut out of car after crash

FRIDAY 11.55am: A MOTORIST thought to be in his 70s had to be cut out of his car after a car crash this morning.

The pensioner was involved in a two vehicle crash on Donaldson Drive, near to Paston Ridings Primary School, at 10.45am.

Although he had to be freed from the vehicle by fire crews, the man is not thought to have been seriously injured.

He has been taken to Peterborough City Hospital with slight chest pains.

Police and ambulance were also in attendance.

The other driver was not hurt.
