Man taken to hospital after collision on Fletton Parkway
Monday, 9am: A MAN escaped with minor cuts to his head after his car flipped onto its roof in a crash in Peterborough on Saturday morning.
A car ended up on its roof after swerving to avoid two other cars which had collided near the Hampton roundabout at 9.45am, resulting in one lane of the road being closed to traffic.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Police said: “Two cars had been involved in a shunt when another car, which had swerved to avoid them, overturned.
“Officers attended but reports suggest that there were no serious injuries.”
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said that a man had been taken to Peterborough City Hospital with minor head lacerations.
The other casualties involved were described as “walking wounded.”
The road was re-opened shortly after 11am.
